Only problem is can be quite expensive in thicker stock (but similar, if not less, than PTFE and more suited as a ‘boatbuilding’, rather than ‘engineering’ material).Does doesn't it .

I knocked up my own G10 equivalent by laying up 650gsm and epoxy over an old board separated by a layer of peel ply. Cost a couple of quids worth of materials. Used for through hull backing pads.
