I have volunteered my saily boat to be part of a two-boat fleet for a friendly group of people taking the Day Skipper Practical 5 day course.

The insurance Co is happy to cover the boat under the normal conditions and for no extra fee as I am not doing it for commercial purposes but as a one-off, and for a good cause.

A quick email to the Sea School (they are providing the other boat) to check what they want in terms of safety kit and other equipment, and the only item outstanding (apart from a spare pencil sharpener :) ) is an in date life raft. SNAG.

I have two rafts both out of date by 3 years, but good makes, and one to RORC standards.

Who is the best service station in Plymouth please ? I want to be there when it's serviced, BTW, to replace certain items with my own. as I have a comprehensive Grab Bag ( or rather Peli Grab Box) with things like spare specs, meds, food, laser flare, and paper work.

Perhaps to get both serviced and then sell one of them.

Thanks.
