Thanks to everybody for their input. Looked at the Fortress on E Bay but thought it a bit small. Priced it all up separately but eventually saw a Sentinel kit..... 7 Kg anchor, 6' chain. 150' warp (exactly as recommended by Cornishman) for £106 in Port Solent. As a kedge it looks the business.

Unfortunately they have a deal on at the mo.... Garmin 276 C WITH whole of UK and Northern France G2 map installed ... £450 !!!. The maps usually cost £245 ( EU706L) , so methinks a bargain.

Then Elaine saw some oilies in a ''nice colour''. Deal was I get a chartplotter, she got the oilies.

Then we saw a danbouy, pilot book, some paint .......

Aaaarrrggghhhhhh !

Is that all! Need some more suggestions? If there was a Phd in spending on chandlery HWMBO says I get it /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Perhaps that is why he needs the chandlers so badly, has to restock and fit each time!

Actually (apart from the debts!) that does sound a lovely way to play it.
