That was only my opnion as I am snowed under with these daft gadgets. I currently have a Blackberry for my word / excel / phone / address / book / tasks / e-mail / internet surfing e.t.c. all in a neat small light unit BUT the colour screen is very limited. I also have the P800 PDA phone which is everything you could want excluding GPS, but too bulky for me, and a Sony Clie which has a superb colour screen MP3 e.t.c. but lacks the direct phone link. Everyone has their own opinions hence the vast choice, and it is vast, but I can't imagine trying to navigate with a tiny PDA screen or the screen on the phone, the view would be very limited compared to an e-map even which I find small. I even want to upgrade my 176C which is massive in comparison, as although I can see it, it could be more useful if it had a larger screen.
I do think that the combined units with built in communication are the future, as trying to work that blinking bluetooth or IR connection to a seperate mobile is a nightmare.
I hope you enjoy your unit and get some good use from it, it seems to be working well for you, which is the name of the game.
