Best crab sandwiches

Seafayre, shop at Lymington Quay, run by the fisherman's wife, do great cooked local crab and lobster too or did up until we left the UK in 2012. A nice 1.25lb cooked lobster plus a salad was a favourite for us for a weekender trip from Poole, ordered on the way by phone on Friday afternoon and collected Saturday morning. Went well with new minted spuds from the Saturday street market too, served cold Beats the watery Florida septic stuff hands ( or claws) down. Here they think bigger' is better, never mind the quality, like the giant stuff seen caught on 'Dangerous Catch'. We also bought good crab and crab pate from Parkstone Fisheries in Parkstone, Poole, or made our own from one of their cooked crabs.

Can't recall the last time I ordered crab in a restaurant.
Vietnamese "Drunken Crab" was a favourite. Or Crab with Green Ginger.

I like to catch my own. or by straight of the boat on the dock.
Cook fresh local corn on the cob, use same water for crab, my wife likes melted butter. I think both taste best fresh and by themselves.
Left over crab if there is any. (rare) mix in a little bit of mayo. On a Fresh Croissant.
Quit often do this with fake crab.

PS, I put the female crabs back.

Female crabs are bad news (I'm told). I used to make a mustard and Creme Fraiche sauce to mix with crab meat but can't find proper Creme Fraiche in Florida so use light Mayo instead mixed with some of what they laughably call Dijon mustard aka 'Grey Poupon'.
