Best cleaning agent for removing stains on ceiling?

Hi guys

A previous post, I mentioned leaks into the cuddy through windows etc. This has led to several areas of unsightly staining.

Any suggestions/ products to use or experience in cleaning this material. Its quite a coarse material, almost like thin cheap carpet(very common,especially on bayliners)

My thought was a foam agent, spray on but wiping off could be a hassle as not smooth, tho I suppose treat it like carpet and rub I guess.

Yep, carpet cleaner like Vanish will bring it up. Worth trying in a corner first, to make sure it does not take any dye out.

Yeah thanks rafiki. I'll have a look in shops before the weekend. Thinking a foam Vanish. Colour is pretty much white so don't think it will hurt it,but will try a corner 1 st tho. Perhaps scrub it with a toothbrush also.

Once looked at a boat that had a turning bed in the front cabin and mirrored ceiling.

About the only material detail I can usefully add is that she works for BA, and my encounter with her was on the plane to Houston. I'm leaving it there.

Thankyou for that. May give that a try. BrendanS(previous owner) explained a story where bleach was used. Think i'll try both ideas.
