Well, with luck and a following wind, it looks like I may be on the home leg to buying my first boat (though I seem to have said that before!).
So soon, I will have to start buying all the paraphernalia -- life jackets (adults, kids and infants), flares, first aid kits, lines, fenders, spares, etc. etc. etc.
Can anyone recommend a good chandlery? I live just outside of Poole, so anywhere between Southampton and here is easy to visit -- and as a big web user, it would be great to find a good online chandler.
Is there anything that I SHOULDN'T buy online i.e. that it is necessary to see 'in person' e.g. lifejackets for fitting?
Look forward to your advice here.... recognising that at this stage, I'm taking a lot from the forum without giving an awful lot back -- I'm looking forward to being able to rectify this in the not-too-distant future!
