I have a friend with a very large woman. What sort of yacht would suit him and pehaps more importantly her best?

If she reads this I reckon the friendship will soon be over. I really think that you need to attend a bit of diversity training - life has to be about accepting people whatever their creed, colour or bust and arse size....how big is she?

I read was reading this and thought what a nice chap until...... I got to the bit.... "and arse size"..... you have definately sunk to the depths of the others on this thread!
If it had been reversed 'best boat for a large man' then the comments would have been how brawny was he?

Disgusted........

oh Jane

I'm afraid you have bitten. Jimi is an old charmer in many ways but sails an average white trawler, and drops this kind of tiddley poo in from time to time to see who will bite. As for Claymore, I have met many of his friends and can only describe them as human goujon - all sorts of funny shapes poured into a Musto offshore kit , ready for RYA deep frying. Think of them as nice but deranged and therefore unworthy of a serious PC style reply and you'll get it right. They are the Audley Harrison of Yachtmasters. I, of course, am the Danny Williams.

Re: oh Jane

John,

Having met the venerable jimi - a more pleasanter chap you couldn't wish to meet - just giving an alternative view on his/Claymore's thread, in no way was my reply supposed to be a 'serious PC style reply'.
But it does make me wonder how by my reversing the comment to 'boats for large men' can invoke your comments:- 'unworthy' & 'and you'll get it right'.... whose the one thats 'bitten' - just a thought?

Perhaps a good product for a large person (I'm not gonna burn my fingers) is a Dutch built ship named Midget (what's in a name) 31. Have a look at the specs. Plenty of room to store big fenders......
Rene.

Acshully the thought came to me whilst I was trying to stuff the rubber dinghy in the rear cabin.

So that's where Stingo's inflatable girlfriend ended-up!

You may well be right Jane. It wouldn't be the first time. the curlicues on the prose were for effect rather than serious. Yours sincerely, Danny Williams

Business opportunity perhaps?

Under government proposals to reduce obeisity, an idea has been put forward to reduce the size of doors fitted to fast food outlets and cake shops ect. preventing the larger woman to enter. This could cause crowds of large women to congregate outside shops like 10 year olds outside off licences. Now if you have ever looked at the face of someone staring at a large cream cake you will understand my meaning. So if you are like myself with a rugged slim athletic figure you will be accosted outside every shop, and a simple request of : get you a creamcake love? : will surely reap rewards IMHO.
