Best Boat BBQ?

We have got a stern rail mounted one from compass (like the Magna but cheaper), in any sort of breeze it becomes a sort of steel smelter far too hot to barbeque with successfully, with an alarming tendency to produce masses of sparks etc only used it twice, now use disposable ones on the beach, quite like the sound of that cobb might get one.

Did you make any bracket for it to go on stern rail ? I looked at them and didn't reckon it would take too much to do ...

I'm sure it would be easy to do but no I haven't done that. I just put it on a wet carpet tile and light it either in the cockpit or more usually on the bows. Never been a problem. There's no holes for burning charcoal to escape and the legs keep it well off the floor.

For £15 you just can't go wrong. If I see any more then I'll buy several to have for the future.

Friends brought a cob onto our boat and the mess it made was annoying, fatty juice all over the place. Our (expensive) gas magma is the perros cohones, and keeps the grease out board.
