Hi Colind 3782,
We spent 2 years in Empuriabrava, near the sports complex. We found fouling heavy and coral worm type infestation was needing removal with diluted (somewhat) Muriatic acid.
Pedro was helpful near the white cranes (whilst we lifted and antifouled).Enjoyed the area otherwise.
The locally sourced antifouling was not very effective.

Thanks Paulclan. Unfortunately, the boatyard has change the rules here and you can't work on your own boat. We would have to go across to Santa or use a local service to do the work. We've found a great mooring on the channel by Cavall de Mar and I don't see us moving anytime soon.

GREECE
When we first went to the med we used Seajet Emperor. Expensive and not that effective. The last 2 years following local recommendations I have used Navicote, which, other than some slime, has been very effective. This year we launched in early May, left the boat stationary in Vliho bay, Nidri for 3 months. It was absolutely fine when we came back in September, and hauled in October.

We had previously used Jotun Sea Queen and found it very good. Last year we tried E.U. 45 because it was substantially cheaper. It was a false economy, not impressed with it at all.

Sea Queen.
Best for the Med, highly reccommended at Bruces Yard by the locals.
