Besenzoni remote control

I have trained it.....there was no explosion nor any shattering of glass...merely some LED flashing. Now I have been down this road before... I bought some small remotes off Amazon....but they were not successful. Anyhow markc says these ones are good.....so I bought two and he might owe me €16.......but boating is an optimist’s hobby so I am always hopeful
They're good. The guy I sold my ex boat to is still using the ones I bought in 2021.

Despite the foul weather, I couldn’t wait any longer....so I went to the boat to test it
IT WORKS !!!!!!!
A big thanks to markc and Irish Rover for their first hand experience..... I was going to say I owe you €492....except I bought two 🤣😂🤣😂
Thanks also to DAW, Hurricane and MapisM for their technical knowledge.....and a special shoutout to Seastoke....for being Seastoke 👍👍👍👍

When are you euro girls going to have pontoons where you can get on your boat easy when pissed.
Actually it's not funny. Med mooring and being pissed can be a lethal combination. I saw a guy dumped off a gangway in Ermoupoli, Syros, as he was getting on his boat just as a ferry came in and caused a huge swell. He was lucky not to be crushed against the quay wall.

I saw one guy get on his passerelle without realising that the bolt holding the hand rail had worked its way out…he fell badly onto his swim platform…I think he injured more than his pride.
Incidentally…since then I have always checked that the hand rail is secured properly

have had a look around for something similar for the opacmare. remote control world does not have opacmare. Looking around and apparently the Erone remotes can replace opacmare. Those cost around £40. Anyone tried these as an opacmare replacement?? Specially looking at the Erone S2TR2641E4. Had to buy a new opacmare remote recently at €390 :(

You mean like this
Very convenient arrangement, M. (y)
Just a thought: aren't those handles on the border of the swim platform solid enough to be used as cleats?
I'm asking because the white line on port side looks like a bit of a trap, when stepping onboard.
And I guess it would work equally well, without being in the way, if tied on the swim platform border.

Absolutely on the nail P. That port aft one is a bir of a trip hazard but is also a key line when leaving and returning to the berth. Those hand rails that you refer to are, indeed, strong enough to use as cleats - we use them when we leave the boat.
Mooring on this berth is controlled by a forward spring along the port side. It sets the position whilst reversing back. I guess most Med boaters will mark the lazy lines on their home berth to achieve the same result.

Sadly I have to resurrect this thread
I purchased the SeKi remotes and they work perfectly…except they have a fatal flaw…they drain batteries in about four days !
I’m talking top of the line Duracells AAA not some none brand. I bought two and both have the flaw
In fact I already ordered two more so will return the two originals and see if the re placements have the same problem
Any alternative brand ?

There's a power button. Are you deactivating them when not in use?

I have never changed the batteries in mine and they worked OK last time
I’m thinking it’s a bad batch…I ordered two more already…hopefully they are different. In the meantime I ordered another brand to experiment with. They are cheap enough

Looks like you need a 4 channel remote control.
I've used these before. They work well but you would have to work out how the old system works.
DieseRC Universal Wireless Remote Control Switch AC 240V 230V 220V 10A 4 Channels RF Relay Receiver Board with 2 Transmitters for Motor Garage Door Light Electric Cylindern : Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools
IIRC you can set the logic of the switch outputs to a number of functions so they should be configurable to operate your passerelle. I'm pretty sure I could make one of these work.
Expanding on my post earlier.
I would "ditch" the Besenzoni electronics completely.
They will have a main control box somewhere that their electronic remotes connect to. Do you have a control panel in a bulkhead that will control the passerelle without the wireless remote? If so, the wireless remote would be wired in parallel to that control.
Either way, I would find the main controller that operates the hydraulics and see how the remotes are connected to it.
It would then be a simple matter of buying one of those DieseRC units above and connecting it up.
No need to rely on the Besenzoni electronics at all and would probably work over a greater distance.
I've had one of these DieseRC units running my Garage doors for a couple of years - no problems.
You can also get additional remotes that can work with it.
