Aha! My original suspicions as to whom Beryl is have proved to be correct.

She lives in our village and known under her other christian name of Vanessa. Her old man, Roger, owns a Narrow Boat.

He is, I must say, a competant owner and doesn't fall into the under-class of NB'ers and has done some extensive cruising in his own right.

I will not admit to being friends with a NB owner as I do not wish to incur the wrath of the Forum. However if all NB'ers were like him there'd be no friction.

How did you uncover her then, were you assaulted in the Perch and Puke?
And does that mean that the Narrowboat in the other post is Beryls other half's, and not another NB owning Forum member who still needs to be outed?

Oh dear oh dear Byron, I don't suppose that I should give our little secret away then should I?

Is she fit ? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

She seems healthy enough but isn't a jogger type /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.

She is splendid cook though or so I'm told. I have never eaten at their house because they're posh and don't approve of fingers, snatching, smoking, farting, nose picking, talking with your mouth full and other normal activities.

God! They even have linen table cloths not like us with old newspapers as table cloths. I bet in their Lavvie they don't use old Freeman Catalogues as poopaper like wot we do. I lay odds they even change their knickers before they get sticky.

Yours aint a NB anyway you also have the full use of a large Princess.

I am so relieved that we are not classed as an NB (I thought we were tarred with the same brush) and I suppose the use of the Princess makes it OK to be a forumite!! I don't suppose you've seen the Broom yet?

Broom? What Broom? I know nothing of a Broom. This is sacrilege I must be advised of all purchases. Has Sheila bought one? What is happening, the world needs to know.

It's OK, don't panic. It's only 13ft long, we needed a boat to go between boats as Henley Bridge will be out of bounds next week. Also the pubs are on the other side of the river!!!!!!(which is more to the point)

Hmmm! I would have though a nice 13'6" Dory would have been more suited to the task, however, knowing you two, you got it at a great price /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
