Berthing a 33 footer or a 40 footer

@Micke_W that Marex is available as a single engine (outdrive or shaft) or twin engine (outdrive only) config... .which one are you looking at?

I am looking at the twin engine when looking at the Marex 330. I am also looking at the Start - Dockmate Sweden if i get an bigger boat

Alright. IMHO you won't need the dockmate but if you can afford it then why not. Needs a stern thruster on non-joystick outdrive boats.

Is it much harder berthing av 40 footer than a smaller 33-35 footer?

I disagree everytime I went up in size I found it easier, you have more experince and the boat sit well in the water the heavier they are, unless very windy.
