Depends what direction you are heading, ideally with the tide.

Berry Head really isn't a problem. We are berthed in Brixham and head round there almost on a weekly basis, in fact I brought my boat back from Dartmouth last Monday. The sea can be a little more confused around the point but its only for a couple of 100m, and not much worse than the sea conditions either side.

Berry Head is slightly unusual in that there is no race around it as there is with many headlands. So no real issue with tides.
