Just received word from the EA that work at Benson will be finished a week earlier than planned and that the lock will re-open this Saturday, 10th March from 0900.

Can I be the first to complain that the job will be finishing early and probably on budget as well.
Just how much more can us honest hardworking overtaxed boaters take when the river authorities do this sort of thing.
I personally know several forumites who will be devastated at being unable to whinge at great length about this type of slip up!
