Bennett trim tabs fairline squadron 42

Just got a Fairline Squadron 42 and found a puddle of oil from trim tab system in lazzerette. On checking the header tank was empty. Filled it up and tested tabs. No leaks from anyjoint so not sure what happened. The tabs look to move about 2/3 inches down, looking at piston. (water not too clear) Anyone know if this is about right.

Thanks for that. I would guess its the same on Squadron. I will have another look tomorrow to check fluid level. Hopefully it will have not dropped.

I have received a message from Bennett trim tabs and I must say they are very helpful. They confirmed piston stroke is normally 2 1/2 inches but can be altered to builders requirements. They also gave tips to check on any leakage. Great after sales service.
