...on the work/life thingy!
I have been under some pressure from my business partners for some time to have a vitally important heart to heart with a senior employee and have been avoiding it like a good'un because, frankly, what I needed to say to him would involve his having to take a difficult decision as to where his career goes.
Friday morning, I couldn't put it off any longer but the sun was shining.
So...
I suggested we nip over to Yarmouth in my boat.
Glorious sunshine, just a bit of a breeze. Solent virtually empty. First time on the new pontoons in Yarmouth. King's Head: pint, cheesy chips (the blood had been just racing through my arteries for weeks beforehand). Truth imparted and well-received. Back to Lymington with the still almost-full moon blazing away in the sky. Job done and all right with the world.
Just need to claim the diesel as a business expense to complete the perfect scenario.
