Benfleet Yacht Club Paper Boat Race

BYC Paper annual Paper boat race In aid of the RNLI takes place on Sunday the 29th January, Registration from 12:00 noon, Start at HW approx 13:31.
Boats to be powered by sail, Paper or card hull & deck, hulls max length of 12" Bowsprits & rudders etc may extend past this. Self steering gear allowed but no radio control. Course across the creek.
The race has been going since 1971 & in the early days it often had several hundred entries, anyone who has one of the old boats in their loft or who wants to throw a new one together will be welcome!
All proceeds to the RNLI.
