Hi everyone, I´m about to test one for buying her this week.
Everything about this model in most welcome...!!!
Thanks
Greetings from Spain.

Did some of my own research some time ago. Apart from all the usual questions which are common to all boats that are 30 or so years old, the research threw up problems with windows. Specifically, the large wrap around windows that can crack and leak - replacements not available and fabrication estimates in the 000's.

Thanks for the comment. I have this consideration in mind. Is a common problem in this family of Beneteaus. The owner of this one says is not affected, so far. But if not, will be sooner than later. My plan, then, is refiber the corner area. Easy and cheap.

I’ve got a 390, Bought in levkas as it happens and we were based in Corfu for a couple of years.

We’ve learned lots of lessons but that’s because we knew nothing About boat maintenance when we Bought it.

The windows did cause some issues with leaks for a while. We scraped out the silicone sealant and reapplied. If you do that, do it in two phases - if you put half an inch or more sealant into the gap the middle never cures.

We found the best thing was to have a weathermax fabric cover made which we attach to cover the windows. It also keeps the boat cool- we never take it off now. Never leaks any more.

Headlining has been a bit saggy - it is 30 years old...

Two people based in Gouvia who are very very useful and helpful people to know: Frank Who runs Nautilus the chandler based just outside the marina near navigators. Absolutely top drawer service and solved every problem I ever took.

And if you need a professional, Frank can put you in touch with my good friend Peter, a Swiss boatbuilder who has helped me with loads on my boat (including the windows). Tell them Big Mark said Hi

Edit: noticed that your username is Corfu. Got confused. If the boat isn’t lying in Corfu ignore all the last bit!
