At sometime in the last 6 months or so, I've been on a UK website that supplied white gelcoat pre tinted for the different beneteau models/years. I thought that I'd saved it in favourites but now can't find it. There's several US sites out there that will supply but I don't want to buy from there because maybe the american built beneteau's have used a different mix than the French.
Does anyone have the link i'm looking for please.

I've done a couple of minor scratch repairs on my white hull with Plastic Padding gel coat filler bought via e-bay. Seems a perfectly reasonable match to me.

I also found that a Navy Blue spray can from B&Q (can't remember the brand) was a good match for the blue band near the water line.

Thanks David, but I've tried the standard filler and to be honest it stands out like a sore thumb. Maybe I'll have to try mixing it myself but I've never had much luck with that sort of thing, The more colour I add the worse the match gets.

Here is a quote from my Beneteau dealer when I asked about gelcoat repairs:

"White is not white it will stand out. Ask for ral 9016 which is the colour code."

Hope this helps.

Thanks to both of you for that, At £7.95 for half a kg it's got to be worth a try.I'll post back if it's the right one.

Yes it was a pretty good match. I could faintly see the repair after it was finished but probably because i knew it was there. Now, after a few years of weathering I don't see it at all. But then I'm not really looking for it anymore.
