Looking to replace our MF 925 and to go up in size to circa 40ft so that we have 2 double cabins, twin engines and patio doors so we don't have to deal with covers and canopies!

Did consider the Antares 12 but really like the sleeker look and style of the Flyer 12 with its flared bow but there are not many around and there's hardly any mention of them on the forums!

I know they were a proving ground for IPS but to be honest given that the last Flyer 12's built are now over a decade old I am leaning towards shafts.

Don't want this to turn into a discussion on the pros and cons of flybridges...... I would really just like to know if anyone has any experience with the Flyer 12?

Not owned one
BUT
Delivered one from Liverpool to N Wales, then did some instruction in/on it
Like all the French Benny/ Jenny offerings
Does what is says on the Tin
Personal things I didn’t like
No forward facing port side seating
No ‘side door’ access
Flat calm conditions over the three days
Therefore sorry, can’t comment ref handling in a chop
Doubt the Flyer will be any different to its brethren of the same ilk

Speaking to one of the brokers where we have out boat about the same thing. He said that boats of this type are in short supply due to the 2008-2012 world market following the worldwide crash.
