Hi,
I've read through all the literature I can find ( both online and from Beneteau ) on this but wondered if anyone had a sketch or picture of the bridle and associated gear that go with the Beneteau set up. My boat has the tabernacle mast mount but I can't quite picture the gear in my mind. Any help appreciated as I have to get the mast down.

Regards

Jeff

Where are you based, Jeff?

The normal set up is a pole - one end goes over the tabernacle and the other end is attached to both the the jib halyard and the trailer winch. Slacken off the stays, take the load of the forestay on the winch, disconnect the forestay and then slowly lower the mast. You'll want two people if you've not done it before, three is better. If I recall correctly, Beneteau didn't ship an A-Frame style set up.

Just one extra little point, usually handy but I don't know the Benetau set up ; if the boat has a roller headsail it's very handy to detail someone with a line around the drum to keep the foil pulled straight and avoid any expensive kinks; ideal job for someone less strong if they're going spare !
