The annual 2003 dinner is being held in Dartmouth (see stugeronsteve's post). This is a worthy occassion .......

the main course would have been chicken fajitas if they had not got held up in cherbourg.

the coffee cups were going to be made in the shape of a benetau hull but, unfortunately, the kitchen staff revolted when the coffeee could not be held in the cup at any angle of heel ...

the guest speaker is the Chinese entrepreneur Hoo Flung and his son Far Flung who will give a short talk to explain their techniques of disguising holding tanks on modern vessels ....

Wow! He'd better rest his voice this week. He's down for the Passage Planning, Interpretation of Meteorological Data, Dodger Rigging, Forestay Measurement Techniques and Power Napping lectures.

As posted elsewhere, Hoo Flung and Far Flung will be bringing their boat sanitization expert Wassat Poo-Pong to give a short demo on holding tank valve operation. Stan Chon will also be showing off his metal bending skills.

So as not to be out done by the naval coves next door, the top table will be adorned with battle scarred dodgers from the Cherbourg Campaign of 2003.
