Can anyone give me information on the feasibility of an auxilliary bracket for a Beneteau Antares 580?
Can't see why this should be a problem. A long shafted 6-8hp outboard on an adjustable bracket would be fine. Bracket just has to be fixed at the correct height on the transom and with suitable re-inforcement. See plenty of such arrangements almost everywhere there are fishermen.

There are atleast half a dozen Jeaneau/Beneteau/Oqueteau/Quicksilver peche-promenades ,like yours, in our estuary. Most, if not all, have auxilliary outboards fitted to their transoms.
For how to fit the bracket correctly you can always have a chat with a Beneteau dealer.

I have a bracket fitted to my 580 but have yet to get an engine, mainly due to having no time due to tourists! I intend to fit a 6hp when I do get the time and will get a long shaft. I just love my boat it's so much fun!
