Hi Guys I could do with some expert help I just bought a 311 beneteau, Does anyone know where the fridge switch is? also what the switch next to the 240v plug does?

I have a 331, the switch for the fridge is labelled 'comfort' on my panel

My similar switch to the one you have next to the 240 socket is for overhead lights in the salon. I have two on the switch, but others have their own switch.

Hi,
I don't know how old your 311 is, but a normal part of the joy of buying a second hand yacht is learning the vagaries of the undocumented modifications made by the prvious owners, particularly in electrical / electronic systems. By the same token,it's worth getting the immediate previous owner to take you through all the workings of these systems when you buy her and documenting as much as you can for your own benefit and that of subsequent owners.

From memory the fridge is the lower right switch. Fortunately the pervious owner labelled them all correctly on our 311.

Thank you very much my boat is 1999 and after a week or so with some friends and family member professional's I have pretty well got my head round the boat after a few suppresses. Just cleaning and silicon spray on all the moving parts to do oh and the winches to strip and service.
Please could you help me further. on the sliding hatch where you get in the boat there is a piece of wood to put the hatch closes but there are 4 more holes where a handle or something used to be fixed either on the outside or inside? Any idea what it could be? sorry with the names of things
