Beneteau 21.7 Gel Coat RAL?

I need to repair some scratches on the hull. I was told by Beneteau reseller that it would be RAL9016 Traffic White. Ordered some up and not correct the hull is more a grey than white. Does anyone have the correct RAL number before I order up a RAL chart

Have you found the Beneteau colour code plaque on your boat? Mine is at the back of the galley locker and shows the colour code for each part of the boat. That still leaves you with the challenge of a Beneteau to RAL conversion though.

No had a quick look but couldn’t find anything. Boat is in storage over the winter so will have another look for it.

Having done body colour painted parts to the automotive industry for many years, bitter experience has taught me to remember that your original gelcoat will have faded over the lifetime of your boat.

Might I suggest you look to buy some 'colour matched' gelcoat filler instead of the standard colour. The supplier should measure the colour of your gelcoat (within the CIE RGB colour space) and supply you with the correct colour at matches.
