Bending 2mm 316 sheet ?

i have cut a mast ring for my C032 out of 6m/m s/s plate witha jig saw.
also drilled it with plain old hss bits too

Yes, the other hole was fine when I remembered to keep the pressure up to keep it cutting. Also, the hacksaw had no problems getting through it either. Just a bit disillusioned with the mess I've made of that bit of sheet, that's all. I may just have to send off for another piece tomorrow when the shops open again...

I'd honestly rather buy one though, apart from anything else I will still have to polish it after (if) I ever get the holes in the right place...

I got the same from Warco, http://www.warco.co.uk/box-pan-fold...ers/89-vice-brake-adjustable-jaw-benders.html and use them for bending stainless for handles, http://ffsystems.co.uk/goodman_style_handles.html use a couple of layers of heavy duct tape on then and you can bend without scratching the stainless.
