Songs were brilliant - Brighton definitely won the singing contest :)

Have been to see 'Tonights the Night'. Having read the reviews I was more than pleasantly surprised. If 'Les Mis' equates to The Times, then TTN equates to the Sun. That said, for light entainment the Sun's a 'darn good read.' I thought TTN was worth the ticket price (£22) as far as pure entertainment was concerned considering I didn't expect much!

Seems like we all went out last night. We saw Eddie Izzard with about 20,000 other folk. Good performance but small dot on the stage with a huge screen but makes you wonder whether he really needed to be there for most of us. In a club he would be amazing I'm sure.

Big stadiums can be dodgy. Went to see the last but one Rolling Stones tour at Wembley, fantastic. Went to see the recent one at Twickenham and we walked out. Sound quality was awful, not enough local speakers so the sound arrived after the big screen pictures, all echo and rubbish.

Still waiting for comment on my refund request. These promoters are not exactly in the Marks and Spencer league on customer PR, but I think for £75 a ticket ones entitled to something better.

Went to see Muse and Grandaddy recently both very good, used to go to the theatre but find it painful to watch, i think it was Buddy Holly story that finally broke this camels back!

Out of interest Does Tim Rice get his lyrics from a book of rhyming words aimed at 12 year olds?

Ben Elton should have stuck to writing comedy with Richard Curtis- that would have saved us from dire musicals and horrendous out of date twee brit flicks like Love actually, Brigette Jones' Diary etc. that only deserve to be an hours one off 'comedy' drama on ITV

well thats that off my chest i can get back to doing some work now.

He's one of the funniest stand up comedians I've ever seen - and I saw him several times in the '80's. Sharp, witty and great comic timing.

Both his books and his Stage Shows are, imho, turgid rubbish and, what's worse, not very funny. He's gone middle aged and flabby. A bit like me, I suppose!

Re: At least you clicked! Thanks

It was down for about 24 hours, don't yet have the report but it's fixed now.
