bellow replacement with OD on a trailer

i assume the bellow material / quality is similar to all the other hoses around my engine ?
so the boat is stored dry, no barnies on the rubber, washed down
how long would the bellows last in this situation ?

I would suspect less than in the water as the rubber is more exposed to UV, sunlight and other elements that hasten rubber deterioration and oxidation.

Take a look at your older hoses. Inside looks much better than outside

Spray the bellows with silicone spray to keep the rubber supple and from drying out and cracking.
