The carpet fitter just finished the wheelhouse, photo. It's come up again and gone off to the binder to do the edging as it will need to fold back to get to the inspection covers.

A frantic phone call later in the morning from him that the gas alarm was going off, thinking the worst that he had cut through the sensor wiring dashed back to the boat to find him spray sticky can in hand,,,,, hmm at least the alarm works.

Later in the afternoon the for'wd cabin, galley and aft cabin all completed, lovely job, poor fella was high as a kite, asked what SWMBO starsign was before he toddled off down the jetty sideways. :)

Next the new upholstry, helm seat re-covered then galley, will post pics as it goes if anyone interested.

Oh, there's more to the helm position than just the post? I assumed it was some hangover from your raggie past, a need to be uncomfortable or something...

Perhaps, I did consider removing the post and remove a trim tab so the boat would lean over all the time, thought about taking a pipe from the deck wash to spray sea water over the helm as well :)

Na, I'll just put the seat back on when it got it's new covering
