So it's been finally decided, communication has been established so we're good to. Thanks for your patience and support from those who contributed idea's on the other threads, PMs and phone calls.
So basically, turn up by boat, car or Paddle board. The Gaff Rigger management are happy for me to keep them updated on numbers and depending on how many, they'll dedicate a section of the restaurant to us. So we could be in the conservatory, the main dining area or the bit on the end ?. Order what you like off the main menu.
I contacted the marina earlier this week to check the 22nd Oct (edited at OP's request) was clear of any other events. I'll speak to them again next week with the suggestion people book with them direct and if they wish state they're with YBW forum gathering.

But..... due to unforseen circumstances, the date may have to be changed to the 22nd of October. Hope everyone can still make it, I'll confirm later with an explanation.

I can’t go into too much detail on a public forum but there is a classified event taking place in the UK which requires my services. I am 100% available on the 22nd.

Having discussed it with Colin I am going to open it up to the Solent Facebook group which includes a diverse range of boats and members some of which post on here, so definitely come if you’re a sailor. It’s how Colin & I first met many moons ago, he of the sail, me of the motor.

Colin has since seen sense and gone power of course but all are welcome.
