Roy's got the ball rolling on us Solent based mobo types getting together on a regular basis.. who's up for another little soiree sometime early May?

....would a weekend work better?

i be up for that. week night is better for me, (thursday was perfect) but will go with what the general view is!

is there anywhere we can go that looks over the water? make it kinda nautical?
 
We will be back for the next event.

This time I fully intend to avoid the schoolboy error of drinking too much without eating.

Kerry will be given strict instructions that even if I say I don't want food, what I really mean is 'yes please love, a burger would be a great idea'!

Fridays or Saturdays are best for us but happy to try and fit in with other peoples plans.

is the rest of the menu there generally as good as the Sunday lunches Howard? thought about you and the taxi thing when suggesting this one buddy :)
 
Once again taking my life in my hands and with no concern for my own personal safety I endured not 1 but several pints - to get an accurate sample, and also availed myself of the establishment's edible fare not but a couple of weeks ago.

I won't lie, it is hard but if I didn't do it someone else would have to and that wouldn't be right. I can not stand to see my fellow contributor suffer so I had another small pint just to make absolutely sure, and then had one for the road to be belt and braces safe.

I can assure you that all is well and the venue is safe. They could hold an Olympic event there so sure am I. Gather without fear of rogue swimmers or naked persons invading the pitch.

Once again this may work for us, though mooring is a little trickier than the last venue. We may end up christening the new tender.

hi all..... you might be pleased to know, that yours truly cannot make the "beer n natter mk2" !!!!!!!...(some of us have to work!!!! grrrrrrr!!)....HOWEVER...i have taken it apon myself to keep all you skivers +skiveress,s happy by leaving an open cheque for £75,000 to help you all over the disapointment!!! i hope to get afloat asap after the holliday monday....ANYWAY YOU LOT ENJOY THE EVENING !!!!!!!....or you could come and help me on the deliveries around Reading that night ??..........ps. i want some change !!! pleeeeeease.
