Will this wind ever quit?

Last week I decided to "go boat fishing" since then I don't think it's dropped below F5.

To cap it all today it was so strong it might almost have blown a tinker off his missus.

Iv'e been saying this for weeks!

We have got used to the drumming and general thrashing around here from the wind but I'm sick of picking up the garden furniture and the Dear Lady Wife's plastic greenhouse was recently returned to us by a neighbour after a 48hr AWOL.

As I said yesterday in a response, the boat covers are in tatters really early this year and even the canvas cover has a tear in it now!

Might be some respite here this weekend.
