Had enough ... got to get some sleep & when SWMBO arrives the two bricks will be employed if I don’t get this right.

First I do not want to spend a fortune, but I want to replace the vinyl covered cushions with something that will ventilate & be supportive I reckon around 150 to 200mm thick – please not any foam product as most reflect heat & will be just as uncomfortable, however if there is a foam product that ventilates that may be ok.
They need to be cut to size & covered with say a towelling cloth, I will then cover with good quality fitted cotton sheet which I can source from India.

Have you considered a hammock?

On the very, very rare occation that its been too hot I've rigged my climbing hammock up and it's been cool and comfy; at least I've not been perched on a tiny ledge on a mountain side :D
