We would like to thank all the exhibitor and visitors for their patience and understanding following our decision to cancel the Beaulieu Boatjumble on Sunday. It was a difficult decision to make but one that was necessary to ensure the safety of all visitors, exhibitors and staff. We appreciate this will have been a disappointing decision for those of you that were hoping to attend the event.

We were able to contact the majority of exhibitors and advanced tickets holders by telephone on Friday and Saturday soon after the decision was made. We also sent out an email, used social media and communicated the decision to local TV and radio. This ensured most people didn't make an unnecessary journey to us on the day, in what was appalling weather.

We have now posted on our website details about how to get a refund for exhibitors and advanced ticket holders. Please visit our website for further details.

Foul weather gear, we probably all have it, very useful stuff! H&S, for heavens sakes, we all go boating.

Getting wet is one thing but stuck in mud .....

I drove through the New Forest on Saturday and the ground was wet. The fields either side of the M27 seemed to be lakes, though shallow. The rain on Saturday night would of only made it worse.

ebid is cheaper, buy the right membership deal then you never have to pay listing fees or final thingy fees, you get up to five free photos per sale, because their is less in fees in fact nothing if you dont choose extras you also have less paperwork.

I dont earn anything by saying this and have not offered a referel link as you can see.

:D

Didn't see anything of interest on the UK sailing site, but maybe there might be now!
