its a weekend I don't go to the boat, as Hythe is on the way to Beaulieu the traffic all around is murder (or it was last year), so I give it a wide berth... but I suppose its busy because its good... you takes you choice! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
it is busy and getting out of the car park tkaes a while, but the plus points are -
you get to see all the bits stolen from other peoples boats
you can pick up some great bargains
and you get admission to the motor museum included in the entrance price, which is a lot less than normal.
ahh, I dont think its so bad. Sure its busy, but...
I take it as a day out, thats all. There is an amazing amount of total junk that you cant believe isnt on a skip (or maybe it was!). There are a good mixture of chandleries. so you get a chance to mooch about different products, though prices arent necessarily always the keenest.
Food, as always at such events, can be a bit steep, but thats how it goes.
So, if you are up for a lazy day wandering about looking for some bits and bobs, its quite fun. If you want to to bargain hunt for your new £6k digital electronics package, it isnt the venue!
Check the weather though.. its an outside day, so rain would really spoil it.
