I don't think there's really any competition between any marinas, they all do well in the summer so there will never be any incentive for the marinas to enter into these agreements.

I see it more as a small gift to their own berth holders, it's just a case of making them feel warm and fuzzy enough to want to do it

In September when I went to Dielette Harbour Office to settle up, the Capitaine sounded as if the reductions hurt them. He was nice about it, but not joking.

Interesting. I only know what's going on at Beaucette where the Transmanche is alive and kicking and no thought of backing out.

I can't speak for St PP, except I believe that over the years their visiting traffic has grown and grown. Reeds says deals are available outside July and August, but the max size into Victoria Marina is (technically) 12.8m.
