Hi Everyone,

Can I ask for some feedback, please?

We've just launched a new website for Beaucette Marina (www.beaucettemarina.com) and would like to know,

1) Is there anything else you'd like to see on the website?
2) Is the info given lacking in any way?

We would really appreciate your comments.

All the best for a great Christmas!

Thank you.

Piers

I think it hits the spot, not over complex, good info.

Aerial pic on the home page a bit dull and gray, could a photoshop wizard make it a nice sunny day?

Just a couple of quick observations: the webcam is tilted, there are extra END-tags on a couple of pages (places to visit, boat yard).

Otherwise looks nice and airy and most important of all, seems to have loads of very useful information. Keeping it up-to-date will be important (and challenging?), of course.

Very good.

Its on our "to do" list for 2014, so timing is good for us, moreover we have only read other peoples comments on approaches and entrance etc, a dedicated website, especially if its available on a mobile, will be great.

Apologies if basic questions, but we are new to longer distance cruising but having dug around for 10 minutes or so :- do we need a passport if visiting from UK, couldn't see any tariff info and does the local telephone company qualify as UK network ? Only small issues but otherwise it works for me ...

You will get charged roaming for your telephone.
The customs paperwork does also ask for passport details etc, which you dont need whilst flying in. I would take them to be on the safe side...

Good website looks a very attractive spot to visit. A coupleof points; where are the prices? Also regarding dogs, although the site notes the position of Guernsey regarding uk dogs it does not specifically say they are welcome at the marina, subject to usual dog provisions?

Hi Andy, Were heading back in 2014, haven't got any dates yet but end of July is looking favorite. Let me know if you fancy going over together.

Andy.

P.S the site is pretty good Piers

You don't need a passport since Guernsey is part of the British Isles, but it's always good to have it with you. To complete the customs forms, you'll need the details. Yes, you'll get charged a roaming charge when using your phone.

Hi Piers
Love it clean but packed with loads of easy to find useful info for a visting sailor, especially like the aerial view.
This from a Webmaster from your past [Chris A at Hiway]
