Beaucette marina - Guernsey

Visited in the summer and enjoyed it more than any other marina we've visited. Very peaceful and entirely rural. Nearest shop is about 3/4 mile past some (more) old quarries now used as reservoirs. It's run by the wife of the marina manager and has limited supplies. There are buses, the stop is a short walk away. Good showers etc. Tried to use the restaurant but we aren't good at booking ahead, preferring a more spontaneous decision. As there is nowhere else in the area that was a bad call!
Thoroughly recommend the place

Hi Champagne Murphy. Thanks for the feedback. Nearest shop is 8 mins walk (I timed it at a leisurely stroll but admit no children were with me!). The restaurant has become popular so pre-booking is always a good idea. If unsure, book ahead, but do remember to cancel 24hrs (or 12hrs absolute minimum) if unable to make it.

New menu and wine list from Feb 2014.

All the best for 2014.

They have boats going in and out upwards of 60 feet.

Great Marina - say Hi to Ricky who runs the place. Nice restaurant and if you fancy a walk along the cliff tops then go to The Beach House - they do the best Club Sandwich with Lobster ever.

We use this place at least twice a year and love it

According to their site they have had a 110' yacht.
