I think todays bit was cancelled but tomorrow might be O.K.

Last weekend I moored at the Riverside pub Lechlade for a few hours to get out of the rain. I met two very pleasant chaps who had built thier own boats and were to be part of a group of similar boat builders spending the week going downstream for this show.

You should have gone it was great.

A Dunkirk Little Ship, steam driven boats, boats driven by Makita (sp?) drills in a race, exhibition of self made boats, vintage speed boats etc etc.

It's on tomorrow too. I'll try to post some pictures later.

And I bought about 80Mtrs of very nice 12mm (guess) white nylon rope for £10.

I've a tiny boat and eight fenders. If I can't learn how to splice a loop / make nice fender lines with 80Mtrs of stuff I don't deserve to.
