It's pretty steep to...What about the beach to the east of Bradwell Power station.? I have seen a wayfarer ashore there on a calm day.

I beached my hunter channel 323 near there a couple of years ago using the west wall of the power station as a transit while heading in. All went well at first but as the tide fell the port side keel broke through the hard surface. The boat ended up heeling at about 20 degrees and scrubbing the port side could notbe completed. What about the beach to the east of Bradwell Power station.? The largest hard in the country, according to Bernie.I beached my hunter channel 323 near there a couple of years ago using the west wall of the power station as a transit while heading in. I think I’ll stick to Brightlingsea hard in future!
If you use my position quoted on post #8 the beach is gently shelving. I know it a Weymarks Beach, but do check it a low water first as the beach can change shape year to year. It's pretty steep to...

Nice boat. Have you booked to attend the OGA60 Jubilee Party and cruise starting on the Orwell Wednesday 2nd August? Could be up to 120 gaff rigged boats attending. OGA - Jubilee Party and CruiseBeached in Shoeburyness / Southend. Two nights so I could lie on each side and get both cleaned. Was very successful. Thanks for the advice.
