BBC2 - Coast: The Great Guide

In the introduction to the programme they talked about going to Essex, but apart from saying Harwich was one of Britain's busiest ports, Essex was not seen or mentioned

Humm, yep the prog nearly got to Essex but more interesting matters kept popping up /in in Suffolk, even then the southerly direction route shown included the burial grounds at Sutton Hoo before the dreaded secret goings on on the remote shingle beach of Orford Ness all in all a very strangely edited programme.

Good job those that know the areas had some understanding of East Anglia's geography and history {:-)

Generally a great series and worth watching again, but some of the editing is a bit odd.
For instance, the one about the Isles of Scilly. The Scillonion can make you seasick and there is a fish and chip shop on St Martins. Nothing else of interest apparently.

It may benefit the Glasgow University Challenge Team.

They thought that the Scillies were in the Bristol Channel.
