Just downloaded this - looks quite good. But surprised that wind units are mph or kph. Who uses these? Maybe pilots?

I assumed everyone uses knots (or possibly m/s).

On Android...
Touch the top left hamburger symbol, which brings up the list of your saved locations.
Swipe the ones you no longer want to the right

Much the same on iPad. Touch the three horizontal bars, the list of places comes up with the word 'Edit'.
There's no option for knots in my version, just mph or kph. I find that irritating too.

Okay. Sussed out how to delete saved locations.
Windspeed in knots is definitely there, in 'customise your view', or by touching the blue info circle followed by 'change units of measurement'.

I think you will find he is using a shortcut to the website rather than the app.

I think you'll find I'm not.
Definitely the app. I paid £2.99 to get rid of the adds, perhaps that gives you that little bit extra functionality too.

I was referring to the Met Office app, which has knots and has improved a lot lately.

Comparing tomorrow’s forecast on Apple, BBC and Met Office apps there seems to be quite a difference, ie 10am in London varies from full sun to overcast. I guess they are using different models?

Does this mean than one app (model) is generally more accurate than the others or are they all just demonstrating statistical variation around a mean - sometimes one is more accurate, equally, sometimes another?

I suspect they are all using Bill Bryson's all in one permanent British weather forecast: Mainly fine, some rain later. Pretty much all you need to know in this country.
