Plop! Lost my fuel cap today. Chain broke whilst filling up.
Immediate thought was we would have to cancel our trip out to Beaulieu river due to not risking water getting into the tank. Unscrewed the chain from the water cap and fitted that to fuel filler. Trip back on.

Question is, where can I buy a new cap without having to import it or pay an inflated price?

Hi Russ.
Got a screw cap Perko unit off my 1996 2052 Capri in my garage - give me your address and I will get it out to you. I replaced it with a lockable unit.

Regards

Paul

Thank you for the offer dingdongs.
Looked on their web site but the 3 caps they have were not suitable.

Just waiting for the Bayliner dealer at Bates Wharf Chertsey to give a price.

Just change the whole unit for one that is readily available?
Loads available on online outlets. Just need to know the size of your filler hose to the tank.
Usually easy to do.
