hi, just purchased new to me bavaria mbm300, i have found a socket on the galley next to a power socket..........
does anybody know what this is for???

Surely better to buy a UK socket (£5 maplins etc) and fit that, rather than mess about with a converter? I dunno if the hole already in the boat is too big or too small for a UK cigar lighter socket, but if it's too big you can buy one of those UK sockets that has a fairly big flange
