I'm trying to help a friend sort out something on his 2005 Bavaria Cruiser 30 which is currently in Portugal along with all its documentation.
I'd be most grateful if anyone can copy me the 12V circuit diagram for the boat, also the D1-20 engine wiring diagram (there isn't one in the manual you can download from the VP website.) I've been unable to find either of these on the net.

Hi Troubadour: I know it's an old post, but did you manage to find any diagrams for the Bav 30? I've searched the net extensively, and tried Bavaria Owners and Bavaria Yacht Information without success. I'd be grateful for any links etc that you found were helpful...

The 12V diagram for the boat is in the documentation but I have not found a D1-20 circuit diagram, I got by with the diagram for my MD2020, I think the only real difference is the stop solenoid and switch. (That's an early D1-20, the latest ones have electronic panel I think.)
 
Thanks, Troubadour. Was the diagram you found this one - Bavaria 30 Electrical Circuit Diagram.jpg? (I don't have the User / Skipper manual, but found this in a 301/302 panel guide.)

Sorry I don't really recall. I looked up what i needed and forgot about it!
You can get the MD2020 diagram from the manual on the VP website or I can email it to you if you PM me an email address.
 
Thank you - just checking that there was nothing I missed! Found the MD2020 info from the website - thanks for the headsup, as I wouldn't have thought of trying this!
 
Hi, I am wondering if there is anything more recent here, since the last post is 9 years ago. The links at the top are redirects to spam sites perhaps due to a change of domains. Wondering if there is any guides and or multimedia on the engines and the electrical would be great. Thanks!
 
If you are specifically looking for that model Bavaria 30 you can find it here bavariayacht.org/forum/index.php/topic,1541.msg11957.html#msg11957 along with many other Bavaria handbooks. This site is the best for Bavaria owners. Be aware though that the wiring diagram in the handbook, although accurate is small scale and not all that easy to follow. However Bavaria electrics from that era are very straightforward, particularly if the boat had factory fitted options. Not so good if owner have messed about adding equipment, but that is true of most boats.
