Rather curious that a lot of boats are now taking on this style, you will of course be familiar with the Etap 46DS that came out about 18months ago? As a reminder here is a link to the Etap web site.

I know these designs take a long time to come to life but there is no escaping the similarity and fact that Etap were there first, is there?

Second, maybe, after Southerly. And of course there is Oyster in there somewhere

In a Yachting World of recent months, the design with the 'eyebrow' was ascribed to the Audi TT as the origin; several yachts have taken this style, the Waquiez (spelling?) for one was na early example. Also pos one of the bigger Jeanneau's.

But Dixon has really put it into the market place with the new Northshore 54 (which doesn't primarily have a lifting keel, but you can have one if you wish, for a price!)

For me Dixon is special; he designed the Moody 37/376 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
