Are you for real? I have seen these Scanmars and the only problem I could find was that the keel was always a little farther aft than in other keel boats.

Pretty sure that JJ of this parish is/was a contented owner. Maybe he didn't know about the rigorous testing process.....

We really fancied a 35 at one time based in Falmouth.. owner did a dirty and sold without telling me.

So what you are saying is that the makers of scanmar made one boat specifically for testing or did the testers select the boats at random.

Being a Swedish design, most of those that hang out in Sweden or Finland are probably tested by hitting a rock on average at least once a season. It's a normal(ish) part of sailing there.
