Try PMing BecnDavid as they have one. I have the sligtly bigger but slightly older (2001) 330 Sport, and it is a fantastic boat. Very well made and the BMB hulls are leagues ahead of the competition.
Check the helm position, I found you had to be deformed to sit and helm it, the starboard side with the controls juts out and makes it awkward to sit on the seat as you are offset and your leg hits the side, but then again maybe I just have a fat arse /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The Bav 32 Sport is a good boat and good value. It is however a compromise because of the permanent berth. Personally I like it but most buyers prefer a larger cabin with a drop down table. The handling is good, but the cockpit seating is not as supportive as other boats in it's class. In the UK, the interior design is not that popular and these boats seem to be 'Sticky' and do not sell easily. The upside of this is that they are good Value. The Bav motorboats are well made, although the cockpit often lets them down.
If you really like it, then I am sure a deal is to be done. Just remember it is not the easiest (or worst) boat to shift.
Seriously considered one last year and looked again at Excel and SIBS. The cabin compromise was too much for us, but they are great value secondhand!
I know about the layout working, as my Regal 2860 was the same. But people just prefer the standard S28/targa28/29/30 layout, hence why they are good value. The cockpit just does not seem to have enough grab rails and the rear seat has a small backrest which scares the be-jegeesez out of me (on the 32 Sport).
Also on the 35HT it felt very poor quality up there, although it did look hard wearing. I would/will get a 35Ht when they are a few years old, that is if the ancaster slaesman does not sell me one in the meantime. He is both persuasive and keen...and the figures nearly stack up /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif...just not yet /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
I just want to see how they hold up first. I am sold on the interior fit out and hull design, and overall practicality/value of them. IMHO, much better than a similar new Sealimne S34...in fact £20k cheaper and a hard top too boot!
BTW, The only boat that sells well with that layout is the Bayliner 285/2855, probably because of the single engine and the Value option it therefore gives...and it is a great boat /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Cheers
True, though if you prefer the more trad layout, there is always the option of the new BMB 30, due out in January.
That is a more conventional S29/T30/Sessa C30 layout with a very big mid cabin and a good size convertable saloon.
Know what you mean about some of the cockpit finishes on the 35 - that plastic table is horrid.
The backrest looks low, but it does work really well and is far enough in board to be safe. Give you a nice bug sun pad as well when not using the seating.
I should have pointed out that I am looking at the back seat from the opinion of a father with a 3 year old...and that scares me! I do not have an issue otherwise and find it a functional layout...but more grab holds needed!
Can't fault the handling its up in the top 5, but as others have said the helm position is a bit skewed, and niggly things like the motor hatch lifting ram, hinges, catches etc, seem cheap and nasty. But overall lots of boat for the money.
