Well as a little update on the sea ray which jez found - myself and the swmbo went down to Essex yesterday had a good look round the boat even had a trial on the river and a deposit has been paid - so at last I have finally got a boat - very proud.

The only disappointment yesterday was the engine in my pick up blew up on the m25 and endured a 7 - 8 hr journey courtesy of the RAC but even that could hold me down

Hi Jez - Oh the deal was in my favour but big thanks to you A for finding a boat but mainly B for your advice. (I have pm you earlier)
Hopefully get round to meeting up with you to buy you a beer

Dan is a very good salesman but to top it off they had the boat put in the water the day before so that it could be tried out - when we moored back up he then just left us to have a good look round/chat which then sealed the deal.

once everything is sorted I am leaving the boat at that marina to learn the craft as it looks a good stretch of river.

Nice one Jon and well done Jez for spotting it. Looks very nice, love the vacuflush bog! I like the separate table to the forward berth, gives you somewhere to have breakfast without dismantling the bed.

Thanks Pete - I don't what it was but after seeing quite a few boats now but when we stepped on her and looked around we just knew - it was right for us.
but definitely 10/10 for Jez.
